Chapter 31

Tristan's emotions were indescribable. He tried to organize his thoughts. He wanted to speak to Yvette.

Should he apologize first? Or perhaps ask where she had been all these years? Or something else…

Yet, before he could sort out his thoughts, Yvette brushed past him without even glancing his way.

Tristan was stunned. He turned around, but Yvette had already gotten into a car. She spoke to the driver softly, "Let's go."

As Tristan watched Yvette disappear from his view, it took him a long time to come back to his senses.

As he was about to call Xavier, he remembered how Xavier had treated Yvette over the years and hesitated.

Tristan had selfish motives when it came to Yvette. He silently noted her car plate number and sent someone to look into where she currently lived.

The black Bentley drove down the highway slowly. Yvette looked out the window calmly. She felt at peace.

It was strange. Why had Tristan been at the cemetery in the western suburbs too?
