The next day, I found myself driving my children, Lana, Landon, and Liam, to school. The unease from the other day's car incident lingered in the back of my mind. Glancing at the rearview mirror, I searched for any signs of suspicious activity, but everything appeared normal. However, my instincts were adamant that Grace had something to do with the attempt on my life. This time, I was certain it was her.

Once I arrived at work, I immediately began attending to my first patient, a young woman named Emily. She had long, flowing brown hair and a warm smile that brightened the room.
