The Day Of The Ritual
The day seemed to be just any other day. They woke up, hugging each other in bed. She had to beg Eon to let her go so that she could get up and use the toilet. And just like usual, he had to make things difficult for her as he spent his sweet time kissing and squeezing her like he didn’t already last night.
Now, after they took a shower together, which also quickly became a morning routine, Eon went down first to cook. Lina still abhors the kitchen and won’t ever try to do anything in it. She started to like baking when she was with Beatrice. Her thoughts float to Beatrice and wonder how the old woman was. She didn’t ask Eon about her or what was her reaction when Eon packed everything she owned in her apartment and moved it. She should ask Eon what excuse he said to the old woman. Besides being nosy, she was nothing but good to her. She put a mental note to contact her one of these days and if everything settled down, maybe, she could visit her.
