The meeting room filled within a few moments, Blanche doing exactly as she was commanded to, Silas moved to sit down and the witch knelt by his side whilst I sat perched on his right shoulder; the vampires barely noticing I existed at first.

I had shifted into a perfect bat, the vampires having no inkling of who I really was as I flapped my wings; my head filled with excitement.
