Taking Over

“So, you two are getting touchy again,” Hafgan taunted me as he stood on the couch. Pointing at me, he makes a mocking face, and says, “a fire dragon getting it on with one of mine is hilarious!”

I snarl at him while I back off, away from the couch. He just had to take over now, while I was getting Max in the mood. I was getting close to having him agree to go all the way with me.

“He may be a very distant relation to you, but that is all he is. Max is nothing like you, Hafgan. Why don’t you just give up and battle me, rather than taunt me like a coward?” I shoot back at him. I hate this soul so damned much, but he never listens to me.
