Lucas never drove so fast in his entire life.

How could he be fooled like that? Why did he leave Selena there by herself?

What could they do to her? What were they planning?

James was attacked as a bait, so Lucas could be gone and leave Selena behind without anyone to protect her.

And Lucas felt for it.

He punched the steering wheel with fury.

He was frustrated and pissed at himself.

Lucas was dodging every car on the way and passing through all the red lights. He didn't care about anything. He just had to go back to the party and find Selena.

Only then he would feel at peace.

He stopped the car with a loud squeak in front of Noah's house and rushed inside.

A few people greeted him back on the way, but he didn't pay attention. He didn't even look at them.

He couldn't see anything, just the path in front of him. He climbed the stairs running and opened the bedroom's door with a kick.

The door busted open and he looked inside.

There was no one. The room was empty.
