Chapter 49

My father was beside her, much younger than I had ever seen him, clutching a sobbing baby in his arms. It was me as a baby. I was taken aback by the realization that I was watching my birth.

Confusion and awe mingled within me as I stood back and viewed the event, feeling like an invisible observer in the past. This strange trip led me to a point in time that was crucial in my life.

I couldn't figure out why I was here or what this voyage was for, but there was an irrefutable link to my past. I couldn't help but feel a tremendous feeling of amazement and an overpowering need to know the secrets this mysterious place held as I stood there, emotions swirling within me. With so many questions unanswered, I felt my journey had only just begun.

My heart raced in my chest as I dashed over to them, and my breaths came in short spurts. Two females were caring for the second infant, who was wrapped in a lovely blanket and lying a few feet away
