I prepared to attend the dreaded ceremony. Anxiety gnawed at my insides, and with each passing minute, the weight of looming chains tightened around me, tying me to a fate I badly desired to avoid.

Xavier had meticulously selected a beautiful white bride maxi for the occasion. The clothing fit me nicely, a dramatic contrast to the internal turmoil. The servants had diligently prepared me for the ceremony, but their efforts had only added to my sense of helplessness.
