Sansa's POV

Xavier's patience was becoming thin as he prodded the author for more information. "You haven't said anything noteworthy about yourself. It seems like a waste of time."

"Did I already bore you? Or have I inadvertently offended you?" the author inquired, seemingly unconcerned with Xavier's annoyance.

Xavier tried not to lose his calm, not wanting to appear disrespectful. "I'm trying to find some peace in this conversation, but your jumbled words are erecting a barrier."

The author said pleasantly, his voice tinged with humor. "Well, I find our conversation rather intriguing, and you have a fascinating personality."

Xavier stated, poised to exert his dominance. "Take him to prison and let him think about his comments alone."

The author made a request that caught Xavier off guard, despite his firm grip on the book. "I'll borrow your book for the night if you don't mind."

Sighing heavily, Xavier let the author take his book, feeling both frustrated and resigned.
