Sansa's POV

Xavier's tone changed, and his voice became friendly and teasing. "You've tried to flee from me before, my dear, but it won't happen again. There is no way out without my consent. And, once again, you come to help Logan. If you dare to make a move, he'll be dead before you can even see him." Xavier's face twisted into a cruel grin, his eyes shining with malicious enjoyment.

The understanding hit me like a gut strike. Xavier had turned into a monster, a true psychopath who relished his power over me. I was imprisoned, ensnared in his sick game, with no way out.

I found the nerve to ask, "When will we go back to the mansion?" Desperation tugged at my chest.
