Chapter 125

Frequent headaches were beginning to make me feel like I was going to die soon. The light cascaded into my room from the window and pierced my eyes. It literally pierced my eyes because I could feel my head aching all the way to my left eye and ear.

I tried to turn so I could face the other side and not get friend by the sun, but Maya's hand was wrapped around my waist so I turned slowly and took in the sight of my best friend sleeping with her mouth open. She looked pretty even with the saliva running down her cheek.

Euw! My subconscious exclaimed. Why the hell was I studying the features of her face when I wasn't Cameron or even her husband? Gross.

The headache continued and it was on the verge of splitting my head into two. I winced and massaged the sides of my head for a little bit, hoping it'd stop hurting, but it didn't. It constantly felt like my head was being stabbed with a pitch fork.
