He held my gaze for a little while before leaning in to kiss my forehead. "Maya told me you were diagnosed with migraine."

"Yes." I answered and it came out almost like a whisper. It even hurt my head to talk. 

"I'm sorry. You'll be fine, I promise." He assured me and I forced myself to smile a little bit. 

Mother and Tristan's mom sat side by side, exchanging pleasantries. I stared longly at the door and imagined it being twisted with some mind power, that was if I had super abilities to do something that intriguing. 

Tristan continued blabbing things that weren't even entering my ears due to the invisible cotton balls in them. I zoned out completely and muted everyone and everything around me.
