I finished unpacking,with both earphones blasting music so I wouldn't hear my roommate. It took a few hours to finish and neatly decorate my space. I took a picture and sent it to my mom. I heard a faint knock on the door and found Brittney looking into the room. I popped an earphone out to hear her invite us to an ice breaker event. I planned on skipping until she added it was required. She said it was a coed party to get to better know all the freshmen that were living on campus. I sighed really not wanting to socialize. I checked my closet and chose a distressed band t-shirt, ankle jeans, black leather jacket and converse for tonight's festivities. I checked myself in the mirror realizing my rose gold hair was a complete mess. I straightened it hoping it would help but it made me look like I had a flat head. I had managed to sneak back into the dorms around midnight. The ice breaker event had been finished for a few hours now. I found my roommate not in her bed and wondered where she was. Was she still with Luke? I quickly shook the thought from my head as I plopped on the bed unwilling to shed my clothes or shoes. I fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow. I woke up to my roommate huffing and puffing throughout the room. I lazily got up from my bed knowing I needed to shower and get ready for the campus tour. Roommate seemed to be throwing a fit about something, slamming things down, but I paid her no mind. As she said this was a single dorm. I didn't exist to her and she didn't exist to me. I played on my phone a while before getting bored. I read the pamphlet that was given to me a few times. When I got bored of that I started pacing the hall. I got a snack from the vending machine and waited some more. It was getting dark outside before someone finally popped out of the lab. I stood up expecting it to be him, but it wasn't. I went to open my dorm door to find it locked. What the hell? I knocked and it was silent on the other side. She may want to pretend like I don't exist and this is a single dorm, but I'll be damned if she thinks she can just keep me out of my own room. I am in no mood. Hope she's decent cause I'm coming in. I didn't see Charles after class. He must be trapped away in that lab again. I learned that they were working on a cure for vampire bites on werewolves. Vampire bites were deadly to werewolves if not treated quickly enough, and even with treatment could still be fatal. I couldn't believe my mate was smart enough to make such a cure. This explains why everyone was so mad at the lights. Although they weren't UV lights, the cells are still susceptible to any light. I went to the commons to eat lunch and ran into Nate.
