MELIA POV I wasn’t able to get much sleep last night, but for the first time in a while, I was content as I watched Roxie get a decent night's rest. She was very restless and had some nightmares that she couldn’t seem to shake, but at least she was in a comfortable bed, next to a warm body, and not afraid of dying for at least one night. I was hoping it would give her the strength she needed to make it through until we could escape. I was dreading the sunrise to rear her ugly face this morning because I knew what it meant for Roxie. We stayed up half the night trying to come up with a plan, but without knowing what held our magic at bay, it was impossible to escape.
