Alpha River's POV

I snarled almost silently as I walked into the house of the man who seemed to be my number one enemy. I couldn't tell what the fuck I was thinking when I anchored the meeting to his pack. If we were being honest with each other, I did it to spite the guy. He was always so full of himself, acting like he was the Alpha of all Alphas when we already had a man for that job and he was still well and alive.

And of course, he got spiteful as I wanted. Two hours after I sent him the letter that I was coming over for the discussion of owning the mill land, the man sent back to me 3 pages long words to tell me why it was wrong for me to fix a meeting alone when it involved two packs. Not only that, but he also pointed out how rude it was for me to make the meeting place his pack without prior notice. I could still remember how hard I laughed when I finished reading the letter.
