Damon's POV

I was sick and tired of this man who had turned himself into a thorn by my side. What the fuck was he doing at the hotel now? And when he had implied that he was coming for me, I believed that he meant back at the pack. But he was now here, knocking at the door as if I owed him something in my previous life.

"I'm going to kill him and be done with it. When I return to the werewolf world, let the Alpha of all Alphas and the rest of the council of Alphas hang me from a tree because of his death," I growled to myself.

"But you don't have to react to his words, Alpha," Evie stated. "I feel like the reason why both of you are always fighting is because neither of you wants to hear what the other has to say."
