Alpha River's POV

After pretending as if I went back to my pack's borderline and into my territory, I made a detour and went back to Alpha Damon's pack land where the security was less. There were still guards around, but it wasn't as thick as those at the borderline. If I played my game right, I would be able to get in and out of his pack without anyone seeing me.

Wondering what it was that I wanted at the man's pack? I was checking out how tight his security was just in case I needed to launch an attack on him one day soon. The man was always full of himself, and I felt that I had to make him pay for that arrogance by bringing him down to his knees. Imagine how he had the audacity to turn me out of his pack!

*Will you stop lying about the reason why you came to the pack?!* My wolf scoffed at me. *You came here to check out his security. You are here to see if you will be able to catch a glimpse of the woman called Evie.* He snarled at me.
