The morning arrived quickly, Zenith had woken up briefly but he had shown no sign of recovery from the injury then fell back unconscious. The female doctor who was attending to him was confused. It seemed the injury had worsened over night. It was the usual cure she used on him when it came to silver and aconite injury but now… she did not even know what to do anymore.

“Anything the issue, Doctor?” Mathias asked her when he saw how her eyes were narrowed at Zenith’s waist.

She looked at him. “I don't know, Right Hand but his injury seem to worsen overnight. His Lycan is not healing him which is really strange.” She said.

Mathias took a step closer and checked the injury. He could see for himself that it was true. Why was Zenith’s beast not healing him?

“So what can be done now? Tomorrow is the wedding ceremony.” He asked.

She shook her head. “There is nothing we can do. The only thing is his Lycan's healing. If his beast can’t heal him, then he is just a mere man and can die from this.
