IRIS

"Welcome to Kelvin's place, miss Iris. I hope you abide by the rules so we can have a working cordial relationship." The manager said with a beaming face and I reciprocated with a small smile. He seemed awfully nice knowing that I spilled coffee on his white suit the other day. Or maybe he didn't remember me.

"Thank you so much, sir. I will do my best." I bowed before him before taking an exit. At first when I entered, I was anxious. Anxious that the past problem could hinder my future greatness.

My anxiety disappeared when he pushed a package to me and told me it was my uniform. He gave me a handbook noting the rules and also how to serve customers better. He told me I could start the next day after school. I was to work from 2:30 to 9:30. I was so ecstatic that when I got back to the apartment, I began testing out the clothes. They all fitted and I looked good in them.
