Chapter 27: Reunions

              I look at my mother, who gives me a big smile and pulls me into her arms, then I turn to Rowan and kiss him.

              “God, Jules, I’m so glad you’re okay. You don’t know how freaked out I was when I found out your dad took you.” He mutters against my lips.

              Smiling, I point to my mom. “I found my mom.”

              Rowan smiles at my mom, who, in turn, gives him the once-over and nudges my elbow with an approving smile.
