              “Who was that boy?” My father asks as he strides purposely behind me.

              I shake my head, confused by his behavior. “I already told you. His name is Rowan─.”

              “I know his name!” He hisses angrily. “What I’m asking you is if you’re screwing him?”

              I’m taken aback. My father may have been a cold man, but I’ve never heard him be so cruel.
