After coming back from the cemetery, Elsa locked herself in her room. She cried a lot about the pain she had suffered not in one life, but still. She didn’t deserve love because she had been put into the fire as a sacrifice to prove herself. If this was the way her existence put forward to shake out the worth, then be it.

Elsa got up from her bed and went to the mirror to fix her face. Her crying face was pretty noticeable, but not that she wanted to hide. She couldn’t do anything to her face, except arrange her messy hair to look presentable.

Later, she ordered a meal in her room to have dinner, but she included the man who didn’t come to visit once after the morning meeting.

Elsa lit candles more than usual, brightening the room, and the woods cracked in the fireplace. The sounds formed the relaxation in the quiet room. Elsa was standing by the window, looking in the dark. That’s when Gabriel pushed the door inside.
