Chapter 23

After parting ways with Lugh, Ember returned to her office. She pushed open the window and looked out. Caleb was still there.

She pursed her lips. Although her face was expressionless, her heart ached. Something was making her face itch, and so she raised her hand to brush it away. It was tears.
