When Penelope saw what had happened, she quickly said, “Doctor N’s here, he can give Grandma a look!”

Before Doctor N could even make a move, he simply looked at the medicine in Ember’s hand and frowned. “Your medicine won’t work. It does nothing for her body.”

Ember’s expression turned dark, and Caleb stared back.

He had taken this specific drug for as long as Ember had stayed by his side. He would have to take it every time he triggered his heart disease, but this Doctor N dared to say something like that?!

Penelope let out a yelp as if she was in shock. “What? Are you for real?! But Caleb has been taking this medicine all along!”
