The whirlwinds that were devastating the land were now replaced by what seemed like a depiction of the underworld, having a red ashen mist surrounding the whole place, nothing could be seen as it covered everything.

Karilaya had created a barrier that blocked the whole thing from entering the cave. Though there was nothing that could be seen outside, she still remained in the opening of the den looking afar as she didn’t really feel like staying beside the captain.

There was this pang inside her chest that kept nagging at her for not telling the man the reason for it all at the same time there was also a part of her that kept scolding her for the mistake and telling her that the man was only looking out for her.

Though she had managed to smile a while ago she could still feel something wrong within the man, having remained quiet for the duration of their whole dinner.
