Chapter Forty Eight

Klaire's POV

My blood ran cold and I almost collapsed on my knees trying to pick up the scattered photos of Leonel and I. What made it worse is the words written under it.

'Alpha and Omega of Northridge were caught meeting in secret a few times. Are they tangled in a forbidden relationship?'

Whoever is behind it clearly intends to make it known to the whole community and ruin both Leonel and I's name.

"No, no, no." I chanted, my hands started to shake while I'm clutching the photos.

My eyes looked around in panic and saw many of them scattered on the ground, and some were holding it.

"It's not what it looks like." I mumbled and almost stumbled when I stood up.

"She's shameless. Seducing an Alpha? Really? She's that desperate to live a different life?"

"I know. She looked innocent. You can never really judge someone based on their appearance. Looks innocent but spreads her legs for the Alpha."

"I thought Alpha Leonel was a decent man, he's actually a fool for giving in to his need
