Chapter Forty Nine

Klaire's POV

I still have two classes today and I am still planning to atten despite what happened, but my friends insisted I go home.

They served as my bodyguards when we left the infirmary and I am overwhelmed by their kindness. Instead of looking around like what I did earlier, my attention remained on my friends. None of them mattered, because those who care about me is right here with me.

I noticed they are starting to collect the papers, but it already spread everywhere anyway.

Marsh was right. Why would I be affected by them if I know I did nothing wrong? Why should my private life matter to them?

"We can use my car." Marsh offered when we're almost at the gate.

"You have a car?" Juris exclaimed in shock.
