Chapter Forty Nine

Klaire's POV

I still have two classes today and I am still planning to atten despite what happened, but my friends insisted I go home.

They served as my bodyguards when we left the infirmary and I am overwhelmed by their kindness. Instead of looking around like what I did earlier, my attention remained on my friends. None of them mattered, because those who care about me is right here with me.

I noticed they are starting to collect the papers, but it already spread everywhere anyway.

Marsh was right. Why would I be affected by them if I know I did nothing wrong? Why should my private life matter to them?

"We can use my car." Marsh offered when we're almost at the gate.

"You have a car?" Juris exclaimed in shock.

Marsh looked serious at first, but when she heaed Juris, she let out an amused laugh. "Duh?"

Back in Northridge, only Travis and Janus and other higher-ranks have cars. They mostly use vans for students or if they have something to go in groups. You can say that our leade
