Don't Bother Me

Addison’s POV

Damon was already between me and Cora. His face looked very hard looking at me and Cora alternately. I wonder if Damon really saw what Cora did to me or not? Or, Damon would go back to defending Cora as usual.

"What are you doing here, Cora?" asked Damon who didn't seem to see what Cora had done to me. I was disappointed with that. If only Damon had seen it earlier.

I turned to Cora who was currently wearing a pitiable expression towards Damon. Whereas earlier she seemed scared when she heard Damon's voice, even to me she seemed very brave. But, now Cora started acting as if she was the victim while I was the villain.

"Oh, Damon... look at my hand hurting so much. She did something very bad to me, she also insulted me with very hurtful words. She really is a terrible woman."
