Meeting

Addison’s POV

I'm currently at a small cafe not far from Shofia's apartment. I deliberately waited here, a small cafe located on a street corner, and I was sure that Damon's men wouldn't be able to get there. Besides, Damon wouldn't be looking for me since he was busy with his wedding to Cora.

Oh, yes. Why am I here? It's because Hayden asked me to meet. Just now, when I was surprised to receive his phone call, he said that he wanted to meet me. I couldn't possibly refuse him since he'd been so kind to me. So, I said yes to his request to meet here.

I waited as I savoured my iced chocolate. My eyes scanned the cafe, which was not too large. This afternoon, the atmosphere of the cafe seemed very quiet, with only three people visiting there, including me. And it wasn't long before the person I was waiting for finally showed up.

Hayden is wearing a neat suit and smiles warmly when our gazes meet.
