ATHENA'S POV

I struggled so hard against the snake but it was too huge and strong for me to go against.

It was becoming too difficult to hold my breath for that long as the snake still held me down deep inside the river.

Only the moon goddess knows how deep we have gotten into the water. What I was hoping for was that the snake wouldn't chop off my head after ensuring it had gotten a good grasp of me.

There was no more strength for me to wiggle out of the snake's grasp, and I hadn't felt Daniel's presence yet.

Could I even feel a presence inside this river and apart from that, the state I was in, presently.

I was almost suffocating, and losing the will to fight anymore. But before I gave up, I heard the snake cry in pain as it began to unwrap itself around me.

Even as it was releasing me of it's grip, I still didn't have the strength to swim up. But before I gave up totally, I felt Daniel's hand hold me tight, and pull me out of the river, and soon, we were on the other sid
