Chapter 72: Devin
I had no idea that she was cutting us off from her emotions. I feel like the worst type of asshole that I didn’t insist that she go to the hospital while we were still on Diana Pack lands. But even Lily had taken her word and said that we could wait.
Right now, Xander and I are in the waiting room outside of the surgical suite. Arya had to have a D&C. I had never heard of one before and Lily was patient as she explained it to us. When they completed the sonogram, they had found that not all of the placenta had detached from Arya’s uterus. This is super dangerous, even for a wolf, and so they had to do surgery to get everything out.
