It’s 3 am and Hakeem and I are in the shower. I wish it was for something fun, but we are trying to get ready to leave for the New Moon Pack land. Trying being the operative word. Hakeem LOVES sleep. And he is not doing well right now.
“Tesoro, you have to wake up.” I rub the loofa over his body, trying to shake him awake. His eyes are closed and his head falling to the side.
