Chapter 30

Hailey's pov:

At college,

Someone tapped on my shoulder as I was planning out how to approach Mr Grey for an apology. When I turned to look, it's Austin. "You dropped it on the corridor." He gave me a key. It's the key I lost last night. I thanked him, handed the key to Mr Grey, and returned to my desk.

Riley yawned as she scribbled down the notes. And as I looked at her, I noticed that her black circles were darker than they had been the day before. Was she not getting enough sleep?

"If you're having trouble with your assignment, can I assist you?" I tapped on her desk.

"I have already finished it."

"What about the dark circles? Day by day, you're turning into a panda."

"Night shifts are taking a pretty long time lately," she chuckled. "That's why I couldn't get enough sleep."

"When it comes to sleeping, you shouldn't find time," I squeezed her cheeks together. "You should schedule other things aside. You must sleep correctly regardless of how difficult the work is. Understand?"
