Chapter 38: His Dark Secret

Lessandra's POV:

Riinnngggg!

The repeated ringing of my cellphone made me get up. When I looked at who the caller was, an unknown number was listed. I was even more badtripped when I found out that the caller had just called the wrong number.

I threw my cellphone on the bed then I fell back to bed. I'm still sleepy. It's Sunday and there's no school so it's okay for me to get up at noon.

"Lessandra!" I angrily faced Ashton. What is this man's problem? I'm still sleepy, thank goodness!

"What?" I asked him annoyed.

"You need to get up there, Ashley and Grandpa are coming today. We're having lunch here." he said which awakened my spirit.

"With Ashley?" my lazy question.

"Yes. Why, is there a problem?" he asked. I shook my head in response.

"I thought, Ashley doesn't want to see me? Why did she agree to this lunch?" I asked him. I'm a little bit curious too.

"Grandpa invited her. She doesn't refuse when Grandpa comes. Besides, don't worry about my sister, you'll get used to her too." he s
