Chapter 41: Loving the Traitor

Lessandra's POV:

"Where have you been?" I asked Ashton. It was past eleven o'clock in the evening and he had just arrived home.

"Hi, sweetheart!" Instead of answering my question, he greeted me sweetly. He even kiss me on my lips.

"Did you work overtime?" I asked him. He just smiled at me in response.

"Yeah, as always." he said. I rolled my eyes but of course, without him noticing.

"Let me." I said when I saw he was removing his necktie. I smiled at him sweetly, causing him to stop from what he's doing. I took that opportunity to remove the necktie and jacket he was wearing.

After I removed his jacket I next took his replacement dress. I could see the shock in his eyes but eventually that was replaced by a smile as well.

"Thank you." he said while hugging me from the back. I grabbed his arms wrapped around my waist then spontaneously smiled at my lips. I also immediately erased the smile coming out of my lips because it wasn’t right.
