I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. They were right here, in front of me shamelessly displaying their affection oblivious of my presence. I shook my head in embarrassment and muttered under my breath, "Do they even realize we're in public?"

I stood for a while watching the lovebirds, hug and kiss and stare into each other's eyes for a long time. I chuckled dryly, "Just right, Samantha you're a third wheel lucky you,". It was business after all I reminded myself.

After futile efforts of trying to get Lucas to look at my face so I would gesture to him that it was way past time to resume at the office– so much for striving for the position of CEO. I couldn't bear their sight any longer, I opened the car door and slid inside he would join whenever he wanted, my frustration boiling over.
