Chapter 11: Birthday Bash
"Will you calm down. You're practically peeling my skin off my hand." Hunter hissed and I looked down to our joined hands and saw my nails digging into his skin.
"Sorry." I apologized as I quickly removed my hand. I had decided to put today's episode behind me at least so I could enjoy the party. Cynthia and her family knew when something bothered me. Before we came here, we made a pitstop to my place and I changed from the adorable pink panda outfit Hunter bought for me to my outfit for the evening.
"You don't have to stop holding my hand. Just don't remove all the skin on it away or it would look ugly and you won't kiss it now would you." He teased.

Sometimes we break hearts not to break hearts, but then we end up with the same pain.
