CHAPTER SEVENTY-ONE: WORTH

ANNIKA’S POV

By monday morning, I took a leave from work. I told Aries I was sick, but the was truth was Jade and I were going to the hospital. I'm not sure how it's going to turn, but there's a little ray of hope that ignites my fire to pursue this and find out the truth once and for all. I couldn't sleep, thinking of the possibility that my child was alive.

When my son died five years ago, I vowed to never come to this place again. Yet, as Juliette’s lies started to unravel, I didn't know that I will find myself standing here again.

I took a deep breath. As I take a step inside the hospital, my heart began racing. I held onto Jade for support.

“Are you okay? Are you sure you want to do this?” she whispered, her voice was filled with concern.

I slowly nodded my head. “Yes. I need to know the truth. And if it involves facing my dreaded past, then I'll compromise. Once and for all, I just want to know everything.”

at least there is a possibility that Timmy is her son, it's just a matter of having the right process in its perfect time....

Yes… a DNA test would be much easier . Besides the doctor and nurses concerned wouldn’t admit readily when questioned if it was true they were involved with the swap and lies back then.
