CHAPTER 35

"I'm not forcing you to believe me---"

He stopped the car which really surprised me. But my surprise doubled when he pulled my body closer to him, giving me a tight and warm hug.

I'm not expecting him to do this, nor I'm not prepared for him to do this. I can't stop my heart from beating fast.

"I'm just happy," he broke away from hugging me, making sure to accompany it with a shy laugh.

He was the first to get out of the car to open the door for me, and to my surprise, we are at a food court near the supermall in our city.

"What are we going to do here?"

"Are not you hungry?"

I frowned. "You're saying what?"

Instead of answering my question, he just pulled me to enter the food court to make sure we buy something to eat.

Only street foods can be seen and there are also round tables here. There are a lot of people here now, but thankfully, there are still a few tables available.
