Chapter 22: Old Mans anger

The morning in the De Luca family has always been quiet, and today was no different.

It was time for breakfast and the whole family was at the dining. It has always been a ritual to maintain tranquility while having breakfast. This is a norm set by the old Patriarch.

The dining area consist of Adrian’s grandfather, parents and Aunty who lives their with her daughter and husband.

“Good morning Father-in-law. ” Roma Adrian’s mother was the first to greet.

He responded by nodding at everyone.

“Good morning dad.” Edward greeted.

He sat down and turned to look at him. He nodded at his greeting, before saying.

“My sources tells me, Adrian is back at the company. Is that true?” He asked eyes on Edward.

The whole table sat in silence not daring to move as the Old patriarch spoke.
