Chapter 25: Anger, resentment and hate.

Pacing up and down in her lavishly decorated room, Tasha couldn't seem to get the hang of what she just heard. Her normally composed and haughty demeanor was replaced by ravaging beast with a mix anger and entitlement.

Looking up, she glared at the maid, Helen, her voice dripping with condescension. "When did you hear all this, Helen?

Helen, a middle-aged woman with a weathered face, looked at Tasha's beautiful but distorted face, her eyes avoiding direct contact. She bowed her head, a gesture of submission. "Young Miss, I overheard the conversation while cleaning the room next to the study. I didn't mean to intrude."
