SHE'S DYING

It turned out that Ruby and I shared the same homeroom. She was just messing with my head!

"Do you want to come around after class?" She asked. "It's so boring having to stay at home with just Alex."

I laughed. "How about your older brothers?"

She rolled her eyes. "They're barely home." She whined. "Please."

She clasped her hands together and gave me the puppy dog eye which I couldn't resist.

"Alright, I'll go. But it's not a promise." I told her. "I need to ask my mum first."

"I'm sure she'll say yes." Ruby replied.

"I'm sure whatever it is you're discussing can wait till after homeroom." Mr. Darius, our homeroom teacher said to us.

Alex scoffed. "Yeah. I agree with Mr. Darius for once. The class is boring already as it seems, if you two keep talking and interrupting his class, it means we're doomed forever."

Mr Darius turned red In embarrassment as the class erupted into laughter.
