Getting ready for school the next morning was total chaos. I struggled to get up from bed and using the bathroom was a total determination.

I got to school early because mum had one of her early appointments with the walkers.

I met a smiling Luke at the car park and a smug looking Alex.

"What's up?" I said to both of them and looking at Luke, I asked. "Why's he looking so smug?"

"He hates Mondays." Luke replied.

"Welcome to the club bro." I patted his back and swatted off Luke's hand when he attempted to pat my head.

Alex eyed me wearily without saying anything and then grinned.

"If that was someone else, you'll definitely be six feet in the ground now and buried."

"But because it's me?" I asked, taking a turn left and entering into the hallway, Alex and Luke by my side.

I noticed that every now and then, students who had formed where talking in whispers and looking our way.

"I think we should part Ways here." I told them. "I don't like the stares I get whenever I'm around you two."
