Chapter Ten

Minah's eyes were shut as she began to groan. A smell that seemed very familiar to her was tickling her nostrils, waking up her sleepy and lethargic spirit.

The mixture of wine and pine was playing with her sense of smell. Or perhaps she was the one who smelt like wine because she had a few drinks last night. But where did that pine smell come from?

She rolled over to the side and buried her face in the soft and fragrant pillows. Then her eyes flew open. She quickly sprang out of bed. Her silky soft black hair dropped to her face. She tucked them behind her ear and wandered her eyes around looking disoriented.

She was expecting to see a clear blue sky and a peaceful poolside but instead, the one that greeted her was a painting of a knight hung on the wall. And instead of a couch, she was laying on a comfortable and elegant king-sized bed.

Minah checked herself, she was snuggling a soft blanket and she was still in her dress. How did she ended
