Chapter 28 Far beyond expection

I heard gunshots which made me flinch through the immense pain that I felt in my stomach. This is not right. I don't want to lose my child.

The guilt began to eat me as I breathed heavily. I would never forgive myself if something happens to my child.

I felt a shudder run down my spine when I opened my woozy, moist eyes to see Nick's parents on the ground pleading with Lorcan to let them go. Despite having blood on them, they were still alive.

"Please forgive us! Let us go! We will never show our faces again!" They begged but Lorcan didn't faze. "We only did this for money! We weren't going to harm her in real!"

Lorcan pointed his gun at them again. "But you scare her and you need to pay for that."

"Lorcan!" But he pull the trigger I called out his name which immediately grabbed his attention.

"D-Don't kill them..." I let out with difficulty.

"Rosalyn!" He quickly came to my side and freed my hands before pulling me up to him.

As soon as I sensed his warmth I couldn't help but crying
