Chapter 34 Cut every expectation for him

Rosalyn's pov.

Looking in the mirror, the reflection gave me a cold glare. She seemed really frail, and her eyes were lifeless and dreary. It was as if she had just lost something that had never been her.

The situation is not supposed to unfold like this. It wasn't intended to be me being so helpless and failing because of someone else. So what if I was fooled and failed to find love? Why does it matter?

I shouldn't be so discouraged; after all, this is not the first time and most likely won't be the last.
