On the way to the office, a smile formed on my lips as I recalled Rose's enthusiasm when she was showing me off to Meera. The pride on her face that was evident, brought me immense joy.

It made my heart race.

Nick must be an idiot, for losing her. But thanks to him, she falls right into my palm. I couldn't help but feel a sense of superiority.
