Is bustling with the upcoming prom I have a bouquet of roses huge they make a statement as I walk in to find Hope

And Carmen standing together.

"Good Morning Ladies " they both turn to look at me seeing then flowers Carmen's face break into a smile "Carmen will you be my prom date ?" I ask her handing the flowers the smile on face huge while if looks can kill

I will be dead the way Hope is looking at me.

Returning the smile "Yes of course, yes I will

Be your Prom date " she agrees I step

Close to her giving her a soft pec on her lips "have dinner with me and my father tonight?" I will be there " she says what an obedient girl she will make a good wife.

I look back at Hope not saying anything to her I walk to my class part one of my plan is done. The day goes quick as teachers are talking about Prom and themes I am not hearing anything. My eyes find Hope she's sitting not listening either she's not her vibrant self around Carmen I wonder why. Not that I care I don't
