Chapter 29 : The Missing Knife

The sound of the running water from the faucet filled the air late that night. Everyone was in their room as Angela washed her bleeding finger, cut by the razor-sharp knife she found in the cupboard drawer in the pink room. Angela wondered what that knife was doing in the drawer. Although it was only 4 inches long, its sharpness was capable of killing. What are you doing in the cupboard? Angela pondered. She then placed the knife on the table and stared at it for a while.

"Someone was keeping you inside the room for a purpose," Angela concluded. "You’re a kitchen knife and you should stay here in the kitchen and not in the drawer of a young lady."

The next day, early in the morning, Angela was the first in the kitchen. She was having a hot coffee when Mrs. Vera entered. "Would you like me to prepare coffee for you, Mrs. Vera?"
