30. Give a Warning
When everyone got out of the car, Maria was still staring blankly. His mind was still reeling about what had just happened.
"Mary, hey Mary... Are you all right?" Jake asked getting into the car again when he didn't see Maria getting out.
Maria turned her head quickly, her eyes blinking a few times. She tried to calm his very fast heartbeat. Then she turned to Jake and nodded.
"Come here," Jake said holding out his hand.
Maria immediately accepted Jake's hand, she got out of the car and into the house.
Inside the house, there were already several people standing up to greet them. One of them approached Maria and Jake.
